Shoes How I Love You!

So like any woman I am in love with shoes. You can never have to many, and you must have a pair for every outfit.
Here are some I found that are different and interesting.
These shoes I really have no clue how you would walk in them...You would have to be a ballet dancer or you may break your ankle. I would break my ankle!

These shoes are cool. I have never seen anything like them before. Would I wear them...no...but still cool. Extremely different.
These shoes would be awesome at a party, or if you are a bartender. I know my girl Sheena will love these! I really think I may get myself a pair.

So when I googled Stilettos "stilettos for men"came up....really? So of course I had to check it out. There are really pictures of guys in stilettos, and they are out in public! But I'll give them props cause they can obviously walk in them, and lots of women can't even do that.
Have a great day!

New Addition to my Family

As you all know I am a huge animal person. I think I really need to own a farm someday :)
So this past October I went and got my hair done by one of my best friends Candice. As I'm sitting at the sink waiting for the dye to seep into my skull, a woman comes in with a crate full of kittens! They were about 9 weeks old and absolutely adorable. Candice picks up the odd ball (the only black one), plays with it for a minute and hands it to me. That was the wrong thing to do. The kitten instantly started purring and made himself comfy sleeping on my chest. I was sold! He was coming home with me, end of story. I was lucky because all the kittens were free, and that's my price.
I had been going through a rough patch and this is just the thing to perk me up. Something to love unconditionally, and get that back, and more in return.
I named him Buttons because he likes to play ALOT, and push all my other animals buttons (and sometimes mine). I was nervous first when I brought him home, but the dogs and cats took to him right away.

He can totally be a pain in the butt, like right now he's trying to swat my fingers as I type, thinking that this is a game, and its all about him. But I love him, he was a great new addition to my furry family!

Here's To a New Year!

So we've been MIA for the last few months. Life seems to always find a way of getting in the way. But we are back and hope to get lots of new followers!
I don't know about you, but I am very happy to have said good bye to 2011 and hello to 2012. The last year has been a huge mess. One thing after another. So I am happy to say I'm going to start this year off right and focus on someone I never do....ME!
For New Years most people make resolutions. I usually do and then forget about them two weeks later. So this year I decided to do something different. I sat down New Years Day and typed up 100 things that I want to accomplish in 2012. I figure this way I have an entire year to get them down...no pressure. The things on my list vary from things I've always wanted to do, to things that I should do more of. Here are a couple examples.
- Drink more water
- Treat myself to a pedicure
- See my family more
- Take a dancing lesson
It can be anything that you want! That's the beauty of it. Anything can go on your list.
After I typed up 100 things, I printed it and put it on my fridge. This way it's always there for me to see, and that way I can't forget about it. And when you accomplish something you cross it off the list. I don't know about you, but crossing things off a list makes me feel great!
So here's to a new better year! Take 30 minutes and write up your own list of 100 things to do in 2012, then print it out and get started! :) Make 2012 all about you, cause you deserve it!

Real Friends or Fake Friends...it's hard to tell.

I've learned a lot about friendships in the last few months. The ones that you've known for years, and you think will always be there, dump you like a pile of crap. And the ones that you'd least expect to stand by you do. It's odd how you think you know someone and you really don't.

Have you ever had a friend that only calls and comes around when they need something? And if you need something and ask for their help its like you asked them to dive into a pit of lava.
How about a friend that steals your best friend and turns her on you?
What about a friendship that you feel like they are always competing with you to be better and have better things?
Or how about a friend that always believes her boyfriend over you, her best friend? Especially when you show her proof that you are telling the truth that he's a dog.
How about a friend that is so nice to your face, and as soon as you leave you find out that they are talking about you?

It's so hard to tell if someone is being a true friend, or talking about you behind your back. How are you suppose to pick up on this stuff? Is there a class I can take so I can weed out the fake friends and the real ones? I feel like I need to do a background check to see if these people are who they claim to be.
I don't consider myself a bad friend, I actually think I'm pretty genuine. I do what I do to try and keep people safe. But as usual it blows up in my face.

People say "you can't judge a book by its cover," well that's one of the truest statements I've ever heard. Friends are suppose to be there no matter what, never talk behind your back, always support you with your decisions, tell you when you look fat in those pants, take all your secrets to the grave, and never ever turn on you because so and so said you said this or that. I hate that he said she said stuff. It always comes out scrambled and makes you look like the bad guy.
